Steroids are commonly used by bodybuilders and athletes of all levels. Usage of steroids can be found in High School sports, steroids in baseball, steroids in football, and, of course, steroids in the Olympics.  All these sports, and many more, use steroids in one form or another. There are many different factors leading up to steroid abuse. 

Steroid- abuse mainly happens when people start using steroids for different reasons other than medical treatments. Steroid abuse is mainly caused due their usage. Steroid abuse may be caused when steroids are used to improve appearance or enhance performance by athletes and body builders. 

Steroid- abuse is high among the adolescents who use them to help them in their sports activities, who participate in other risky behaviours and who use other drugs. Steroid- abuse is more prevalent and also high among many adults especially among males than females.    

To isolate the specific sports that show the most prevalent use of steroids and steroid- abuse, bodybuilders are most likely to participate in steroid abuse. As many people like the physical results they see when they use steroids, it can easily turn into steroid abuse.  

Many different factors are leading up to Steroid abuse, Steroids are, for the most part , illegal in United States. Another good news is that Steroids have been approved for medical use either as oral, topical or topical or intravenous treatments.
